Nice spot off the road! Some noise from the rd during the day but quiet at night. It’s very peaceful but close enough to town to get supplies

Thank you Cracker Barrel for the free parking. We were so tired we didn’t hear the traffic from I-95. Parking lot clean as always.

Good place to spend the night with security. I recommend to park close to the building. It's a parking lot, so it doesn't have facilities.

4x4 road to get down to the beach. Good place to launch a kayak. We kayaked several times already. Lots of great camping up on the bluff a few hundred feet from the beach. Wild burros live in the nearby hills, you can sometimes hear them. Good LTE: 2-3 bars of Verizon signal here.

Great couple nights here. Unbelievable scenery that is very unique. Beautiful hiking.

Campsites are great. In the forest so don’t have a view but very peaceful and wood is supplied. $20 per person.

Small BLM 9 site with dispersed camping outside of campground .
Very nice pit toilets, limit water via hand pump .

Good Verizon service in the campground. Not able to adjust the rating, but I would rate 3-4 out of 5. $6.00 per night campground fee.

Uh-freakin-mazing!! Even arriving after dark, we were able to get a great spot right down by the lapping waves! Can’t wait til morning!
Word to the wise: when we left Henneman Harbor my Apple Maps said it would take an hour to get here. It was like 4 miles!! Lol. It kept telling us to park on a turnout and park the car, so I think it was counting walking time..??? Weird. I mean it IS all washboard dirt road the whole way but not terrible at all... and we’ll worth it. 4 bars and 5G are great!

Checked in with security to get yellow parking permit (free) and had a fairly quiet night. Trains going by on the nearby tracks were audible but not deafening.

There is an area designated for campers in the back of the hotel for free. A donation is expected when you use the showers. Basic but nice and clean. The pub serves meals and cold drinks if you want. Add a use of the pool in the place and you have an oasis. Great little gem on the SA outback!!

Quiet and peaceful! After a hot drive into California from Arizona, we needed some rest and this spot was great for the night. Beautiful sunset and sunrise views! Our 2WD van had no issues driving through. Our cell phone service was working surprisingly well out here! (Sprint & T-Mobile)

I spoke with Yolanda about parking (sleeping in our truck) on her property. The parking is in the front of their property and they have a few dirt spots. She originally quoted Q35pp, but I negotiated down to Q30pp for 1 couple in 1 truck or Q25pp for 2 couples in 2 trucks. They have bathrooms. No showers. No wifi. Yolanda was very friendly. However, Adonis (her son) was very drunk and a bit intrusive. He said we can leave our dog while we go to Tikal, but they don’t have a fenced in area and we were afraid the dog would run off to try to find us. So, we stayed next door at Casa de Doña Tonita (also on iO). I think this spot would be ok generally, we just weren’t in the mood to entertain a drunk youth. Also, the grassy camping areas right on the lake at Casa de Doña Tonita and also at Ernesto’s are more beautiful/enjoyable/spacious.
