It seems like a nice place to visit, but with our 2WD van after 15 km we turned back. We were afraid to break something... The dust road is really really bad, going up and down all the time with a lot of rocks. We highly recommend going there only with 4WD.

We use this truck stop to get a few hours of sleep, it wasn't too bad for a truck stop.

This is the place to extend your visa.
Best to come early, they open at 8:00 am.
You need to wear a mask, no hats allowed!
You need to have or write a letter, where you need to explain WHY you want to extend your visa.
If you fly out, bring a copy of your flight ticket.
I had a flight ticket with a flight date a few days after my visa expired, so it was easy. But I just got a few days beyond the flight date.
Only one extension possible.
All process completed in one hour.

Easy spot right off the highway at ghost rock on the westbound side of 70. Kind of loud from the highway but nice (pretty!) spot to spend a night. Multiple semi’s across the lot and one other van near me. Pit toilets, no water, a few bars of verizon lte. No “no overnight parking signs”.

Now you have to pay 50 ley per Night, not very friendly and he won't tell you until the next morning. even he spoke to me in the evening bevor.

Location near the mouth of the river of beads. quiet and safe. just a farm next door. no shops, bars or restaurants nearby

What a hidden gem this place is. So beautiful! We paid $14/night. First come first serve right now. Centralized dump station. No trash services so pack it out. Incredible rock climbing.

This is a parking lot for boondocking on bluff viewing docks with boats lift. Was a host present on site in classic city bus checking payments. Showers avail for a fee at docks. Nearby enjoy kayak rentals, Life boat museum, agate beach, battle rock visitor center.

Rest area at about mile marker 224 with dump station in turnaround at end car parking. Not open at this time of year but stayed overnight in turnaround with a number of other vehicles. Very quiet. Bathrooms not great.

Went a little past the marked coordinates on the main gravel road, then off to the right on a little point looking north. Gorgeous!

Clamping in one of their many cabins or vanlife looking for a beautiful super clean bathhouse , this lovely quiet meadow that sits high up on a hill above a river is peaceful. I found it through harvest host app, I buy my CBD products here. Amazing hiking trails close by, small town 5 miles away, a secluded place yet well done for clamping , RV, vanlife. Water here
Not sure about full hook ups

Great park in a beautiful setting. We needed a couple of days in a relaxed setting. Campground was near capacity. $27/night for electrical hookup and water. This was offseason pricing. New rates kick in April 1st. A stream runs at our campsite and a trailhead is within walking distance of our campsite.

Excellent place, small but cozy and warm. Camping, caravan or room rental, bathrooms with hot shower, restaurant service. u$ 6 a night per person.

We couldn’t stay at the windmill because we are a beast with 40’ rig and 25’ trailer. So walked further up the road and found a y that we could back up and set up here. Quiet and level spot although this time of year it’s cold and windy. No people!!! We are good to go for a couple of days and my dogs love running off leash in the wild! Be sure and walk the road if you come up this far there is a dip and it could get worse if it rains.

Great spot. Stayed the night. I will back.

Great campsites all up and down the 328 access road. Heavily trafficked, but plenty space to spread out.

Quiet and miles of trails within the park. Looked at a map and it is BLM property near the fields. Stayed for a couple nights with no problems. Please be mindful to locals and leave no trace!

Nice place. Hardly anyone here. Cooler than Indio. Windy. Good Verizon reception.

It’s a nice place to stop for the night. We called ahead just to confirm it was okay for overnight. The guy on the phone was nice and said yes of course and gave directions to their rv/overnight parking lot. I think some may stay further back, but when we turned into the casino we saw two other motor homes/vans to the paved parking lot directly on the left so we parked there. It’s well lit and cameras on the light poles so we felt safe. A little noisy when people are leaving casino, but we felt safe and it quieted down.

Holy bananas this place is packed even on a Monday afternoon. This is literally the first open spot I found after maybe an hour of looking. Just the side of the road in loop-around. It'll work for a night, 2 bars ATT. Beautiful but crowded.

Restaurant in Punta Prieta. Good wifi (15 pesos) a la carte or free with the the decent breakfast and bad coffee.

Outdoor or indoor seating to escape heat or bugs.

There is a maze of tight trails in and amongst the pinyon trees. We are a short way off the road in a nice little spot. Would not take something not 4x4 in further because of mud, rocks, and overhanging trees.

Snowed in the last day, some still around.

We parked our truck camper for a night in the spots just outside the garage under the “Free P” signs. No signage about no overnight or camping. The garage as well as most of the streets around Magnolia are always free. It was a Sunday and all outside spots and garage were completely empty. Cop drove by and through garage, but didn’t stop or say anything. Great bars and restaurants around the corner. We loved “Free Play” and “Yucatán”

Stay for one night. Quiet if you park far away from trucks area. Park as far as you can in the main parking lot.
