No longer open 24/7! New hours are 7am-11pm. Classic Walmart parking lot, friendly staff, stayed overnight in my car with no problems. It’s definitely a ways off the main drag (I 65) and it takes a bit to get in and out.

Fantastic place with stunning views to the gorge and river. No electricity/MTC network. Site has own private shed and terrace overlooking the river that was running when we visited. Private shower and toilet too. Fabulous spot to rest in total quietness and amazing surroundings! Staff very friendly and helpful! 100NAD pppn. Easy access.

large lot had a few visitors some stayed 45 minutes some stayed 5. as you enter the gate to visit the ruins there's pitcher pump water on the left.

Stayed here 1 night with no issues. Parked along the tree line in the parking lot. Pretty quiet accept the occasional train going by and the heavy winds that came through in the early morning.

Good fairly secluded spot. only a couple other campsites and off the main road. No view of the red rocks.

Free bluff top spot with easy access to the beach, south of Rancho El Conejo. Beautiful view for miles down the coast. No amenities. 3G on Verizon.

Up the dirt road to the right, on the ridge of the canyon itself. With a nice fire ring. Fantastic view!

This place is closed. The owner is trying to sell it. We met a guy that used to work here and is staying in one of the old cottages. He offered us to stay here. There is electricity. He also offered us a bucket shower. We paid 750pp.

They said I could park here overnight. Most of the parking spaces are on a slant. Lots of trucks here. Showers are $13.

We parked on a large and level asphalt pad next to the old railroad station ruins. no signs that prohibit camping here. there are Los Angeles water authorities signs prohibiting camping along the nearby river, but not here. wide open space lots of room for rigs of any size. fantastic views of the mountains.

A good place to buy normal or all-terrain tyres. I didn't see any mud tyres. They can order most tyres within a day or two. A friend of mine bought his new all-terrain tyres there.

You can also get repairs done or get a general service for your car. It's next to a petrol station. The owner spoke French, English and Darija.

I would rate it 5 stars but somehow iOverlander shows 2,5 stars.

There is a very quiet, unpaved road which is not on Google Maps but which you will find on Openstreetmap. If you talk to the guard respectfully, you can park your car there for a night. You might also be able to park in front of the Burger King or across the street from it. This area of Rabat is very quiet and safe. I wouldn't recommend parking south of the roundabout near the "Jardin publique". There are usually quite a few homeless people.

Don't get tempted to park your on the side of the road next to the ocean during the night. The stray dogs can be very aggressive. I barely escaped the jaws of a big, aggressive dog when I went for a run during the day. Also, many homeless people stay around the coast. Most of them are nice. But not all of them.

You can get booze there. Beer, wine, liquor, anything. There is another, similar shop around the corner.

He went on and came to a river. The river had become very big; so he could not go over it. He waited for some time; then he said, "I cannot go to the rich man's house today, for I cannot get over the river."
He began to go home. He had eaten no food that day. He began to want food. He came to the apples, and he was glad to take them out of the dust and eat them.

Advantage of this basic campground is your access to the seals colony after 17:00 with Schakals screening for young seals at sunset.
Charme of your stay will depend a lot on weather conditions.

This is a relatively quiet border crossing. We were told that it is easier to pass here then it is at Busia. I recommend crossing here! The officers were friendly and didn't make a fuzz of anything. We crossed using a carnet for our car.

Nice spot indeed with great overview but it seems that authorities installed everywhere information boards with restrictions regarding overnight stay as camping (not clear if concerning grounded tents or van/camper style as well). Talking with local people they were not sure as well. Would recommend to go further where we stayed for 3 nights without any issue...located on the map.

An accessible for 4x4...a bit challenging for high campers.. very quiet place few steps from stony sea side surrounded by olive trees and great view on Ayvalik city. Was surrounded by garbage but we made the cleanup process as usual and might be ok for some times. Few fishermen or passerby.

They haven’t got a clue about Mitsubishi. Their core business is Nissan. Their diagnostic is very unreliable and they don’t carry any spare parts. Paid 1000 rand for useless diagnosis.
