Nice historical rock to visit nearby. Very important for the Oregon Trail with old carved names from the 1800s.

Nice parking for campers.

Amazing and clean showers. The water was hot and pressure was good. It’s in a shipping dock. $1.25 for 7 minutes was a steal

Yep. As described previously. But there is a fair amount of traffic noise, as well as being in the flight path for the airport. Good for big rigs, but the free CAMP Goodchild campsite in town would be less windier for smaller units.

Finally found this spot after feeling uncomfortable on with the spots on the road to the east (burned cars, trash, poop, etc.)

Stayed 1am to 6am. Wouldn't have slept here normally, but I needed a place to sleep. As I was getting up and packing up, a few people parked here to walk their dogs etc past the gate and were friendly. The dogs were friendly too but that's not very surprising.

Road is at the moment not recommended for a 2WD vehicle. There are a lot of wash outs in the beginning when you are coming from the viaduct. You have to cross the river several times but at the moment the water is very low and often partly frozen. No issue with that.
We have a Toyota 4Runner without high clearance and it is easy doable. After this point north (so after the narrow section for big trucks) the street is a normal gravel road with ripio.

Dangerous road, especially for bigger Trucks! -24.13048, -66.44393

Be aware that if you have a unit without a toilet that the only one is located outside of the Park at the rear of the gas station. It can be a bit of a hike and not someplace to let the Littles go unsupervised due to traffic and general public. Also not lit at night so can be a bit sketch at times.

Stayed one night here with a sprinter van. Another came by in the morning but nobody bothered us.

Did not work for garden hose size to RV. Tried 3 times and most I got was 1 gallon which probably just filled the hose.

It’s a parking lot. Where you can stay. When the tide is out it’s a mud flat. Porta potties and trash.

We've spent two nights here while organizing some stuff in Campo Grande. Takes around 30 Minutes to the city centre.
This place has everything you need:
-free hot shower
-Lanchonete
-cold water to fill your bottles
-free Wi-Fi which is quite fast
-there's an advert at the bathroom entrance for laundry service - washing and drying within 1:40h. Didn't use the service
-they offer greasing of your truck

If you park right at the gas station or near the Lanchonete you will have Wi-Fi signal but there's lots of truck traffic. We opted for the corner far in the back of the huge parking lot. There's no Wi-Fi there but way more quiet than in the front.

Trail access only. No overnight camping. Beautiful trail though. Cool fire pit inside a boulder. See photos.

Nice little campground at Lake Lorraine. About 10 sites with fire rings. Bear-proof trash cans. No toilets. Only 2 sites next to lake. Others closer to the entrance road & a short walk to the lake. Free and can camp for up to 7 days. 2 bars of Verizon.

As described. $15/night. There is a camp host who is friendly & helpful. 1 bar verizon, but won’t connect to internet. My solis puck pulls up AT&T & converts to wifi just fine. I’m the only one here, but when the salmon come up the river it apparently gets very busy. The road in is in good shape st this time of year. Lots of mosquitos!
