There are several spots here along these forest service roads that are nice to camp. The closer you are to the main road the more it seems you have the big loud campers (big 5th wheels, generator on all night, lights on all night, showing off and cutting big trees with their big loud chain saws). Further in is quieter and possibly doable with larger rigs. Road is rocky compacted dirt, a little narrow at times. We saw many potential good spots along the two roads. 2 bars 4G for Verizon and also ATT.

There is a sign that says park closed from dusk to dawn. Another sign on the information board said no loitering in the parking lot. We chose to move on.

Quite and beautiful. Nobady bother me. I stayed here for one night, two days in a tent with a friend. In the night I only saw fisher. Incredible place

Excellent camping near Las Vegas. Verizon and AT&T signals are very fast. Space for everyone. Just be sure to watch for soft sand. We saw several people get stuck, even in 4WD vehicles. This is mostly a concern if you go down closer to the water. Big rigs should definitely stay at the top. Plenty of dumpsters available as well as a bathroom in the parking lot. There are tons of coyotes, and they're out even during the day, so be careful if you have a small dog.

Very nice experience to camp one night in this beautiful area. There is enough fire wood to make a fire. We saw lots of elephants when we were driving in the riverbed. And the next morning we saw lion footprints around our campspot! The drive in the riverbed is easy, no problems. If you drive into desolation valley it gets a bit more challenging but still doable with high clearance and 4x4 is handy. We also saw jackal, ostrich, springbok and oryx.
It's was definitely a highlight on our trip around Afrika!

Camp is green, clean. Beware of insects such as horsefly and ticks, use repellent, thsi is a standard precaution in the bush

A nice flat and pretty level pullout off the highway and elevated above it. Beautiful views and just outside Utah State Property (dont block their entrance or right-of-way).

Spent two nights here. Great little spot, no one bothered us. Clean bathrooms and cold water shower just off the beach. Very quiet at night, and no illumination of the parking lot so you don’t feel like you’re on display. Just steps to the beach over the dunes where we saw a bunch of tortoises - also great bird watching on the beach itself. Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay in the St Aug area!

We slept two nights in front of the restaurant "Poke Não?" with our kombihome. We went to the restaurant to eat, and we found out that the owners, Leandro and Stephane, were very friendly and helped us with everything we needed to spend the night. They sell Hawaiian food. We felt safe.

amazing spot! right off the freeway theres a hill that goes up, the campsite is fairly close up the road! our 24 ft gulfstream took it like a champ and hubby said it was an easy drive up. there's a fire pit here and the ground is pretty even we didn't even need to level. amazing spot, free and in nature!

Great spot on the side for vans/RVs to park for the night. Near the highway but overall it’s pretty quiet!

We arrived before dark and couldn't believe how nice this spot was. Walking alongside the marina several time during sunset and into the evening made this a gem. The area was very clean and didn't have any issues. Street noise was minimal. This spot is only minutes away from the walking path that you can walk or bike over the causeway. Great park right across the street.

we were the only one here overnight. had the best sleep in past week, with the sound of ocean. super nice and private spot next to the ocean.

Trailhead parking lot. Lots of room for campervans. Flat. Nice views. Away from the road and tracks. Popular trail so perhaps busy during the day. Dead quiet at night - except for occasional and subdued train noise. Zero amenities - just a place to park.

There is a really nice pull off from the road. Careful coming in as it is in the middle of a large turn with a fast speed limit.

Flat ground with space for 1 car. 2wd sprinter got here no problem. 3 bars Verizon. Some sounds from cars passing by, but relatively sheltered from road

Literally just off the hwy at a switchback in the road lies Angelia’s place. She has a parking area across the road where the highway goes around. Beautiful vista
Into the mountains. A bit noisy but after dark it’s quiet. Gelt very safe and is good for big rigs. The family is adorable and I enjoyed watching them dance to their newly acquired jukebox. They were finishing a restaurant that hopefully will be open soon. Charged me 50pp

Park and ride in the city. Road noise wasn’t bad at night and there were plenty of places that were dark enough to park for the night. Right next to a park so great for dogs. Has a dumpster in the lot and recycling in a nearby parking lot.

Old Homestead Ruins nearby that we didn't explore due to being fenced off.

Lugar bastante movimentado, porém, tranquilo.
Pedi informações sobre acampar no posto e ele me levou ao gerente que prontamente me mostrou um lugar lá nos fundos e me deixou bastante à vontade.

Lá param muitos caminhoneiros para passar a noite, alguns trocaram ideia. Foi super tranquilo.

Very busy place, however, quiet. I asked for information about camping at the gas station and he took me to the manager who promptly showed me a place in the back and made me feel very comfortable. Many truckers stop there to spend the night, some exchanged ideas. It was super quiet.

excellent place to leave the car and go to hydroelectric. price 5 soles per car + 2 soles per person per day. safe place with cold showers and full bathrooms.

This location has a large parking lot and is adjacent to a Walmart. A few RV parking spots in the rear. Some highway noise, good overnight spot.

Fine place for a night or two. Nothing that special but pretty easy to access. Nice hike nearby as well. And had some wild horses hanging out for a bit. Good AT&T service. Road was ok for vans/trucks. Probably would not bring a towed vehicle in unless it's pretty tough.

Just south of Arsus on the high mountain pass route by the road. Great wild camping overlooking the ocean
