Payed 900 mex for 3 nights. Alone with 2 snowbirds. Host was a few times short on the place. Toilets and showers seems as long time not used, lot of Sand in. Used my own in the RV and dumped. WiFi was mostly working. Not a special place to stay longer. Town 2 km and nice with restaurants and shops.

Almost at the end of Marble canyon drive (and to the end) there are plenty of places to pull off next to the canyon walls to camp. Some have fire rings from previous users. It is much more than the required 8 miles away from the main road. The canyon walls proved a gorgeous backdrop for your stay.

To get here, you will traverse a very washboard road. It then gets better, then turns to gravel and rock. Our ram3500 with extra wide bed and 4wheel camper made the trip fine. Would not recommend anything much bigger. High clearance recommended to get back this far.
It can take over an hour to get here from the main road. Be patient, enjoy the changing landscapes you will go through to get here!

Cute. American prices. Visited on NYE hoping that there might be something going on, but they close at 7, so I sit here with a Margarita. I came hungry, but fresh food is only available on event nights, (open mic like mentioned). The owner is super sweet, from California.

very nice ruins, surround by jungle, not too crowd for this major maya site.

we don't know why, maybe because it was sunday, we only had paid the first gate near the main road 50 pesos per person.
At the museum and the ruins they had just register us in a book and waves us for free.

New Year’s Eve Day it was blocked off for fireworks to be set up. They told us to park in the lot next door (to the right as you face the lake) and it was even better. Great spot. We stayed two nights. That spot is at S 39.280060 W 72.221140

Walmart parking lot. Pretty quiet most of the night. Seemed darker than other Walmart lots...in a good way. A semi came by around 8am. We didn’t ask if we were allowed to stay but we didn’t see any signs saying that it was against the rules. We stayed at the far corner of the lot. It looks out at a pretty grove of trees. Unfortunately, it is covered in trash. Overall, it was a calm and pleasant night sleep.

Dunkin’ Donuts inside the Walmart.

Can buy gallons of water but no dispenser machine.

You can Leave your stuff there if you want to go to a hike and reserve for a later night. it's 12.000 now. Rooms are without hearing, but wood in the kitchen. Internet is good if it works. but in two days it didn't work for several hours.
just 2 beds per room so you might be lucky to stay alone.

Hello
Lovely hike to do with your family.
Around 1h30 with the children.
And at the end, if you want, you can take a funny old cable cabine for 4000 pp.
Or you can follow the hike trail to come back in town.

Bridge out on the hwy to Santa Teresa. Cars and buses are regularly getting stuck in the middle of strong stream, knee deep and more. Police is trying to manage the traffic, but it's not very organized. Some bulldozers present but reluctant to help. Be careful!

We’ve found a good place with hot showers (best work in the morning), very quiet - we was alone. 150 ap complete.

Beautiful campsite with plenty of options with shade. Tables, fire pits, basic toilet near entrance to camping area (x 2 cubicles) with flushing toilet and toilet paper. Wood heated hot shower x 2 (for use after 6pm only) just above reception with another toilet next door. All basic but clean.
You can get right to the lake very easily. Peaceful. Now the price is 250 per person. Motorbikes are free but cars are 300 extra I believe. Maybe this is just for high season? The lady asked if we slept well and we did...even on new years eve! She told me they have a limitation on music at the site which is why it's so quiet. We decided to stay two nights it was so tranquil and beautiful.

We didn‘t expect much after reading the reviews, and therefore weren’t disappointed. The sites are large, and have water, grill and a trash can. The ablution block is nice enough. We were able to get a walk-up reservation, and were pretty happy to be able to stay in the park and not have to drive from Ghoha to Mababe in one day. We enjoyed all the trails to drive around on for game viewing (although we didn‘t see much) and the technical drive up Quarry Hill. It is worth a stay just for the location.

This station is the most convenient for those traveling in RV’s. No need to go into the little town of Loreto if all you’re doing is passing through.

Most horrible camping we went to since our trip through Argentina. Busy highway is the least. Its very very dirty (dirt all over the toilets) and not maintained at all. Paid 500 peso (2 people and a 4x4) for this crap. I recommend to go to the other side of the lake to camping club pescadores (only a few minutes away).

We stayed there 2nights and paid 200Pesos/night incl. the key for a private shower and a flush toilet in one of the hotel rooms;
the road is still a little bit rough but durable when it’s dry with a 2WD- in our case the road was extremely muddy and slippery at the next day just after some hours of light rain during the night... if that happens to you I would recommend 4x4;
we had a delicious dinner at the restaurant and the stuff was pretty friendly! We like that place...also if it looks a little bit weird.

Nice hostel. A bed starts for around 20 euro and includes breakfast. There is ample secure parking for a half dozen motorcycles and / or a normal sized vehicle. There is a pool and good wifi. A real nice treat to relax in a little luxury.

Basically a large empty field next to the lake and next to the auberge. A few flatish places to park, otherwise sloped. Still run down and bathrooms are in the auberge--had junk in them. 80 MAD seemed expensive for the site. Note: the sign on the road doesn't mention camping when coming in from the north.

Not bad. Not great. It was ok for a night but not much more. We parked in the yard and were charged 20,000. Rooms were the same cost but significantly less nice than the tent. Staff extremely friendly - they brought us hot tea and we had a nice time with them. English is fairly limited but you can get by. If you speak French you’re fine. They offered us tea for breakfast as well but we had to make the border. You can hear the border road here (lots of big trucks) so it’s not a quiet night by my means but it is a good stop if you want to cross the border into Tanzania early. Locals and some staff very curious about the truck - brought their families down to see it. Don’t think they see many overlanders. There is a very limited bar.
