Impossible de sortir du camping car tellement les moustiques étaient nombreux, présence de chasseurs également, nous avons préféré reprendre la route.

Amazing! Very quiet and beatiful place. Could get a little windy, but, if you are facing the palapas continue on the road that goes to the right, it will take you to some abandoned gringos houses, we park there and is more protected from the wind and you are next to the best small sandy no-wind beach. Amazing. We end up staying 3 nights here!

They have wifi at the restaurant, 20 pesos or 1usd per 1 hour.

Very nice people, beach is clean, and you have the supermarket of gonzaga 10 min away (the slowest part is passing the militars, the really like to talk haha).

Absolutely recommended place!
We paid 100 pesos a night.

Beautiful campsites in front of the ocean. The price is 5,000 colones per adults 12 years up. There is limited parking for camper SUV.......6 spaces, but most guests arrive by bus.Property is fronted by coral, but soft sand beach is 2-3 minute walk.

Small campground in a side canyon next to the Colorado River. Sites 30 to 37 are best if 20 amp electrical hookups are sufficient or if you are in a tent. One of the few campgrounds where the tent sites are nicer than the RV sites. There is a big grassy area for the tents. Showers need to be remodeled, but work and are hot. Beach, boat ramp, hiking trail. There is a well-stocked small store 1/4 mile south.

Part of Arizona State Park system. $30/night for 20A sites. 30 amp cost more.

Here you can buy insurance for 3, 10, and 30 days. It only covers Argentina and not chile so this is useful going eastbound to Argentina. Insurance for 3 days was 11,000 pesos.

This was useful for us because we sold our US California plates van by selling and changing plates to Washington and the new owners needed insurance for the new washington plates to enter argentina. We did this on a Saturday at 5pm

Fyi there is also an insurance office for chile further west at the chilean migration/aduana

Beautiful community campsite in forest reserve. Awesome scenery. Road from Chimoyo and to Dombe wonderful scenery through mountains on tar. Water pumps run on solar, and not working due to lots of rain before we arrived. They brought us a large drum of water and buckets to flush toilets.

Arrived late, paid 600pp for a single room 700pp including breakfast but it's nothing that might be worth of being ordered, shower was cold to warm, best of all was secured parking for my motorbike in a huge garage that is attached to the building ...

Beautiful spot with enough place to camp. You can use a bathroom from one of the cabins, very clean and with a hot shower.
Dog friendly. We payed 150 per person per night and 30 per night for the dog.
In the weekend there’s some music from town and yes there are some dogs barking in the distance but we found it not annoying.

Crazy windy cycle to get here. Cyclists be warned that all the mentions of camping refer to motorhome parking, it is prohibited to camp here. Also the hike to campamento pingo is with a guide only.

Nice clean toilets with soap. Tiny shop with very expensive crisps, biscuits, chocolate and drinks.

Had bread, steak, egg and chips in the restaurant for 9,500CHP

Free WiFi connects but not working.

Stunning views, really hot shower, clean bathrooms with toilet paper, every plot has a shelter, bench and parilla. Really great campsite. WiFi after 9pm is just about ok for WhatsApp messages but nothing else. Shop sells chocolate, biscuits etc and some dehydrated camping food for 10,000chp each. No electricity in public places but the lady in reception plugged my battery pack in overnight.

A nice area with beach access and a beautiful view to Vulcan Osorno. It gets super crowded on weekends; we arrived on Saturday end of the day and there was music and noise all night long and again starting at 9am from the following morning. Bathroom was ok, hot and clean shower. Attendant was very friendly helping to find a spot as far as possible from the loudest noise! Tables and electricity available.

Nice gates spot on the river with a good restaurant. We ended up camping here for 2 nights, and booked our Okavango River Delta Mokoro overnight trip with them, which is HIGHLY recommended. During our trip they allowed us to keep our car in their lot and was safe.

The abolutions were not the cleanest, but the showers were nice and they did have a qater tap and sink where you can do dishes and fill water tanks. There was also a bbq and electric plug near our campsite.

Camping Price: 110 pula ppn

George the owner is a great guy and really helpful. Everything here that overlanders need, he even had 2 proper stations built with power and water if needed. Georges main business is white water rafting and his family also started Las Pumas cat sanctuary which is a short walk up the road and worth a visit (1 of only 2 actually certified places in CR to really save animals rather than being a touristy zoo and breeding centre)... It's true that there's a bit of road noise but just man up :-)

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting San Pancho. The area is becoming quite developed but still has a cool layes back vibe and great beach. Please be mindful while staying here as it is a beach accès between houses and a fancy restaurent.

San Marcos Sierra is a busy small town that is fun to visit in the evening, but the campgrounds are busy and noisy. This spot is only a few kilometres away on the road to Capilla Del Monte. There is traffic during the day but it is quiet at night. There is plenty of space to park several vehicles, though we were alone when we stayed.

Large place to spend a night outside San Marcos Sierra. -30.81360, -64.61569
