Stopped by this special spot for a quick dip. The beautiful palms have returned. There were some older gentlemen there that filled us in on the rules, etc. Nice place to visit. water was hot, about 105 f and the bottom was slippery with algae. No pets allowed. Pit toilets, trash cans, and the spring can be used as a shower if you rotate the contraption above it and turn on the knob.

Noisy on weekends. There was trash and a pile of poo in the pull-off I unfortunately chose on Kelly Pond Rd.

The nice woman asked 6000 with my campervan. The problem is the place is now a biildingsite as she is building a new big cabanas for the guests... I thing in summer 2023 everything will be at the right place. At the moment 1 wc with shower m and one w.

Nice small lake with a few campsites. Trash and vault toilets and water spigots. We got here during a storm and afterwards the light was beautiful on the lake. Busy with people fishing on the weekends. We were the only campers. There's a hiking trail around the lake but didn't go all the way around because of flooding of the river on the west side. All kinds of animals. Saw an armadillo!

Followed the direction on the map as others users had stated . Great place in between Beatty and Amargosa Valley. There’s a gate at the entrance don’t forgot to close behind you . There are somewhat level spots not far from the entrance. Some car noise in the spots closer to the Hwy . Road good enough for almost any car, van or truck. I have 2 bars LTE (cricket) . Little white hills around.

a good sized paved parking lot with room for a 30 ft RV and tow vehicle to do a u-turn. spent the night and was not bothered. the pool was closed for the season so it was a quiet place. I assume the pool is open during the summer time and obviously dry camping would not work then.

Such a nice rest stop. Pull in to the back side for best parking and picnic tables. Some highway noise, but worth it for safety and beauty

Clean room with god shower. All rooms are 350 kwacha. It wasa bit noisy (maybe because of Saturday). The air conditoning in our riom (nr. 101) was broken and started to make hidious noise in the niddle of the boght and had to seitch it off. Restaurant not realy working and it seemed that they couldn’t have done prety much anything. Webt for a pizza to Bayama’s, which is around the corner. No working wifi when we were here.

Guesthouse with Pizzeria below. We paid €50/night for a one bedroom apartment for two people. (Washing machine in room.) What we liked most about this place is that they are outfitted for motorcycles. A parking garage specifically for them, with a place to hang your gear and rags to wipe it. Pizzeria had great pizza and prices ranged from €6-10 each. The location is ideal if you are riding the TET.

Large parking area with tram station. No amenities except rubbish bins. Well lit, 4G service, CCTV cameras so we felt safe. Parking is E4 for 24 hours and tram is E5.40 to go into centre of Dublin. Takes less than half an hour. We stayed two nights. Our vehicle is 6.6m long and you wouldn't want to be much longer; we could park with a bit of overhang and not stick out to much.

Four wonderful nights. Definitely recommended to stay rather than the other close place. Especially if you enjoy peace and quiet.

Passed through from Mauritania into Senegal. Super easy, camped next to the lake 20km away and we’re unbothered and arrived at 9am.

Mauritania exit:
Paid 500MRU Exit Stamp
Paid 100MRU Communal Tax
Receipts given for both. Took 15 minutes total.

Senegal Entry:
Paid 4000CFA for the bridge. Receipt provided.
Paid 5000CFA for a 3 day passevant, 1998 Land Cruiser. No receipt and the border official became very defensive when I challenged him on this. Ended up paying it as he wouldn’t give us the passevant without the cash, frustrating.

Carte Brun (Insurance) purchased from a man on a bench round the side of the vehicle clearance office. We were told €40 for 3 months but I paid $40, no idea what the actual cost of insurance is here.

Would recommend having MRU/CFA/Euros, dollars not useful.

Super, super clean! I tipped the cleaning ladies because they deserve it. Park and picnic tables are well looked after as well. Does get noisy with traffic and big trucks that have their trailer coolers running all night. There is a sign, no overnight parking but we did it anyway after nearly 1000km we were so tired and had no issues. When we woke up, lots of other trucks, cars and campers sleeping as well.

Also multiple signs of sheriff's patrolling the area, which is good for safety.
